From Workplace Research to Motivating Game Design

At WorkdPlays, we turn research into practice. The WorkdPlays app has been developed as a tool that strengthens employees, the workplace, and the company as a whole. It is a situation-based learning game where language learning is integrated into real work tasks that employees encounter in their daily routines. This approach develops and trains employees’ language skills while also contributing to improved communication and overall workplace well-being.

The result is increased production efficiency, higher employee satisfaction, improved retention, and a more sustainable workplace.

Our language learning tool has been developed in collaboration with language teachers, researchers, and game developers. The result is a platform grounded in well-documented research on language acquisition, workplace culture, digital resources, and gamification. The ongoing evaluation and optimisation of the WorkdPlays platform is also research-based, ensuring an effective, engaging, and enjoyable learning experience.
